Storm Damage Condition

A Storm Damage Condition may be declared by the Township Maintenance Supervisor following a major storm that causes widespread damage.

When a Storm Damage Condition is in effect:

  • Residents with downed branches or limbs must submit a service request—either by phone or through the online request form—within two (2) working days of the storm to be eligible for free pickup.
  • Branches and limbs must be placed neatly at the curb within two (2) weeks of the storm.

Requests submitted after the two-day deadline, or debris placed at the curb after the two-week period, may not qualify for no-charge pickup.

Curbside Leaf Collection

From mid-October through mid-December, the Maintenance Department collects leaves along Township streets. No bagging is required during this period.

  • Place leaves at the curb or on the road berm where no curb exists.
  • Do not place leaves in ditches, as this can clog the storm sewer system.
  • Leaves must be free of other yard waste, including grass, twigs, or flowers.

Crews typically service each street once per week. However, collection may be delayed during periods of heavy leaf volume, snow or ice emergencies, or equipment issues.

For information on when your street was last serviced, contact the Maintenance Department at (513) 791-8447.

Vegetation must be maintained to provide:

Trees and shrubs extending over sidewalks must be trimmed back behind the sidewalk to allow safe pedestrian access.
