Sycamore Township has declared a storm damage emergency due to strong storms on 08/01/2026.

Residents who have storm damage, please call 513-791-8447 or complete an online request form by 8:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 5, 2026, to report the damage and let the Township know whether it is ready at the curb for pickup.

If it is not yet ready, please call or go online to report it, then call back when it is ready. We will allow two weeks to get it to the curb for pickup. This is not a Township-wide collection; you must call or submit a form by the deadline for complimentary pickup.

Alternatively, the Township will be offering free brush chipping for Township residents on Saturday, August 29th, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the parking lot behind the Township Administration Building at 8540 Kenwood Road.

*Please place the storm damage unbagged at the curb with the cut sides of the branches facing the street. Do not mix with leaves.

The Warren County Engineer's Office has alerted Sycamore Township, Ohio to a traffic switch on Fields Ertel Road on Monday, August 3rd:

Fields-Ertel Road, from Cross Pond Drive to Snider Road, will experience a traffic switch on Monday, August 3rd, 2026, weather permitting. The traffic switch will now utilize the newly constructed roadway. Two-way traffic will now be permitted on this section of roadway.

Fields-Ertel Road, from Snider Road to Wilkens Blvd., will experience a traffic switch on Monday, August 3rd, 2026, weather permitting. The traffic switch will move the traveling public to the center of the newly constructed roadway, allowing the Contractor to continue construction on the north and south sides of the roadway. Two-way traffic will remain in effect. Access to all driveways and subdivisions will continue be maintained throughout construction.

This project is being constructed by the John R. Jurgensen Company for a bid amount of $18,611,588.44. This project is funded by the Federal Surface Transportation Block Grant, Ohio Public Works Commission, Deerfield Township Trustees, Symmes Township Trustees, Hamilton County Engineer’s Office, and Warren County Engineer’s Office through the Warren County Transportation Improvement District.
