In 2003, Sycamore Township adopted a Property Maintenance Code to help the Township promote the well-being and enrichment of our community. With this adoption it was also necessary to create a Property Maintenance Board to review appeals by residents or businesses to any order issued by the Township based on violations to the code found by the Planning and Zoning Inspector. It is the job of the Property Maintenance Board members to ensure due process and to determine if the cited sections are valid and if in fact a violation exists. MEETINGS
Sycamore Township Property Maintenance Board meetings take place on the first Wednesday of each month. Meetings are held in the Township Administration Building located at 8540 Kenwood Road at 3:00 PM. Dates and times for the board meetings are posted on the home page of this website. Comments and questions are welcome at board meetings. This is the time when members of the public may direct concerns, questions, suggestions or comments to the board.

YOUR APPOINTED BOARD MEMBERS
The Sycamore Township Property Maintenance Board consists of 3 members and 1 alternate appointed by the Township Trustees, who must be residents of the unincorporated territory of Sycamore Township included in the area zoned. Vacancies are appointed by the Board of Trustees, usually for a 5 year term unless a position is vacated. Members with board position and term expiration include:
