Trash Bash

The Sycamore Township “Trash Bash” is an anticipated event held in the spring in both the northern and southern parts of the Township. It was created to help clean our neighborhoods, our properties, and the community.  Appliances, car batteries, tires, used motor oil, furniture, lawn equipment, mattresses wrapped in plastic, or any other unwanted items that seem to clutter your basement or garage will be accepted. OIL BASED PAINT & HAZARDOUS HOUSEHOLD MATERIALS WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THE SOUTH TRASH BASH ONLY. Latex paint may be taken to Matthew 25 Ministries at 11060 Kenwood Road.

As part of our recycling initiative, ELECTRONICS RECYCLING will be available. You are encouraged to bring your old televisions, computers, monitors etc. to be recycled to either Trash Bash event.
