On August 30, 2005 Corporal Kristy Fritz was
appointed the new Township Liasion Officer for
the Township by the Board of Trustees and the
support of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s
Department. Just like her predecessor,
she is employed by the Hamilton County Sheriff's
Office, where she has been a Sheriff's Deputy
for 13 years. Assigned to the Hamilton
County Justice Center from 1992-1993, Kristy
was promoted to the Road Patrol Division in
1993 in District 3, where she has served in
Sycamore Township since that time. Corporal
Fritz graduated from the University of Cincinnati
in 1992 with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal
Justice and a minor in Psychology.
She then graduated from the Ohio Peace Officer's Training course in January of 1993. She is a certified Crime Prevention Officer as well as a certified D.A.R.E officer.
A lifelong residentof Hamilton County, she grew up in Springfield Township, graduating from Mt. Healthy High School in 1987.
The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office is teamed with Sycamore Township to offer a variety of programs to assist organizations, businesses, churches, residential groups and many more in the area of crime prevention. Reservations can be made for a trained specialist to address your group in a variety of areas, such as:
Workplace violence
D.A.R.E
Hold-up alarms and procedures
Shoplifting
Child safety
Babysitter training
CPTED (crime prevention through environmental design)
Basic self defense
Crimes against seniors
Neighborhood watch – Blockwatch
Fingerprinting
