INVITATION TO BID
A sealed bid for the HAM-SYCAMORE TWP INTERCONNECT, PHASE II, IMPROVEMENTS (PID 107715) for SYCAMORE TOWNSHIP will be received at 8540 KENWOOD ROAD, CINCINNATI, OH, until Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. local time when they will be publicly opened and read aloud. All bids must be properly labeled and received at the administrative offices of the SYCAMORE TOWNSHIP

Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety.
Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity, and a complete listing of all subcontractors to be used.
The Contractor must comply with the Federal Prevailing Wage Rates on Public Improvements in Hamilton County, Ohio, Sycamore Township as determined by the United States Department of Labor in accordance with Federal-Aid requirements (Davis – Bacon Act).
This project is partially funded by State and/or Federal funds. The Contractor MUST be pre-qualified by the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) to complete the work included in the project. The bidder/contractor MUST note the additional requirements and the additional form(s) that are included in this package. The bidder/contractor MUST complete and submit these form(s). The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) has determined that the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal for this project is Five percent (5%).
ONLY contractors pre-qualified by the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) are eligible to submit bids for this project. Pre-qualification status MUST be in force at the time of submitting the bid, at the time of the award and through the life of the construction contract. For work types that ODOT does not pre-qualify, the LPA will still select a qualified contractor. Subcontractors are not subject to the pre-qualification requirement. The “prime” contractor MUST perform no less than thirty (30) percent of the total original contract price.
The right is reserved by the OWNER to reject any or all bids, and to waive any informality in bids received and to accept any bid which is deemed to be the lowest and most responsible bid.
No BIDDER may withdraw his BID for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of the bids.
