While Sycamore Township may be synonymous with Kenwood Towne Centre, retailing makes up only one piece of its highly successful economic puzzle. According to the latest figures, 1,376 businesses call the Township home. Of these, 1,200 fall into the category of large business and corporations with more than 200 or more employees and several multi-billion dollar corporations on the Fortune 200 list. The remaining 250 are classified as small or "mom and pop" businesses.
