Greg Bickford, AICP - Planning & Zoning Director/Assistant Township Administrator gbickford@sycamoretownship.org The Zoning Director is responsible for oversight and management of the land use planning and zoning functions of the Township as well as being responsible for the enforcement of the Township's Zoning Resolutions. The Zoning Director staffs the Board of Zoning Appeals and the Zoning Commission. While serving as staff to these boards, the Zoning Director exercises independent judgment based on the interpretation of the land use plan, zoning codes and the needs and best interests of the Township. The Zoning Administrator will also serve as the Township's liaison to appropriate Hamilton County agencies, and other organizations, as determined by the Township Administrator or Board of Trustees. Mr. Bickford is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Design, Art, Architecture and Planning (1996), with a degree in Urban Planning and Design and a minor in Information Systems. Prior to his employment with Sycamore Township in 2000, he had four previous years of public service throughout various organizations, including Miami Valley Regional Planning in Dayton, OH, the City of Milford, and the Butler County Department of Development. |

Harry L. Holbert Jr. - Planning & Zoning Inspector (513)792-7252 The Planning and Zoning Inspector is responsible for interpreting the Sycamore Township Zoning Resolutions and Property Maintenance Code by providing quality and effective services to the residential and business communities of the Township. Mr. Holbert reviews plans submitted with residential and commercial zoning permit applications to assure conformity with the Sycamore Township Zoning Resolution. He spends a considerable amount of time meeting with property owners, conducting field inspections, performing final inspections and answering public inquiries. Mr. Holbert is committed to maintaining a high standard of living in the Township by enforcing the Property Maintenance Code. He works to resolve resident complaints and violations of the code, and coordinates his efforts with the Sycamore Township Fire & Maintenance Departments to resolve issues of noncompliance. |
